The top-ranked Lady Friars keep finding a way to win, putting away a pesky TCA squad Monday on a goal with eight minutes to play.

Jacksonville University commit Mallory Johnson scored the game-winner on a shot assisted by Kaky Kuby to keep the Lady Friars undefeated (7-0).

Bishop Lynch — ranked No. 1 in TAPPS — also improved its national ranking, up two spots to 8th in the TopDrawerSoccer.com poll. The Lady Friars are 5-0 in district play, outscoring league opponents by a 14-1 margin.

BL will compete in the Forney Tournament Thursday and Friday, with games Thursday against Lake Dallas (10:35 a.m.) and McKinney North (1:45 p.m.).
